Tevao Creative needed to attract a new target audience: Larger marketing firms in need of expert support.
The company’s website required a content overhaul specific to this audience.

My role
Using stakeholder interviews and insights from competitive analysis and market research, I worked directly with business owner to define the brand voice, tone and style. I then composed and delivered wireframed conversion-focused web copy targeting Tevao’s new target audience.
The process
The messaging problem
Through exhaustive competitive analysis and social listening, we pinpointed 4 key pains (and desires) experienced by the new target market.
Collaboration: Will roles be respected?
Timelines: Will deadlines be met consistently?
Value: What tangible value will this collaboration add to my project?
Quality: How do I know the calibre of work will match that of my internal team?
Budget: How much of my budget will this require? And will that be accurate?
I used hundreds of pieces of market research and voice-of-customer data points to identify prospect pushes and pulls, and glean differentiating positioning opportunities. Then, I designed the new website sitemap with user experience top-of-mind.

I strengthened the brand’s voice, developing and applying elements of tone and style for brand stickiness.
Brand voice and tone development
I conducted SEO research with SEMRush into competitor domains to find and capitalise on key word gaps and opportunities. Copy was composed in line with market research, messaging hierarchies, principles of UX design and insights into decision-making archetypes.
SEO research and composition
I supported Tevao Creative with a set of social media posts, providing content and hashtags (3 posts/week for approx. 12 weeks). Collaboratively worked with Tevao through Later.com for content approval, and to schedule/publish posts
